Free Hugs in Macau
I am so touched by what those lovely guys were doing. Have you heard of ” FREE HUGS CAMPAIGN”? Have you joined this very meaningful movement? When I was in NYC, I saw some people giving hugs to strangers. I was shocked by those people, at that time. I asked my mummy what they were doing, they must be crazy. ( I am so stupid, huh?) Actually, what they are doing is a tremendous job! So, when I go back to Beijing, I just joined this wonderful campaign. It gives me a lot. Not only the hugs, but also the stuff which can touch your heart. When you see people smiling to you, when strangers say ” Thank you” to you, how do you feel? It’s hard to describe the feeling. You know, nowadays, people don’t communicate very often, even for family members. Maybe, you will say that we have so many hi-tech stuff, such as, cellphone, email, msn ,etc. why not use those things to do that. I don’t say some bad words to those stuff. But, from one perspective, don’t you think those things make our relationship far away? What we need is the face-to-face communication. I think that’s the perfect way to communicate, no matter what you wanna say, exchanging opinions, sharing stories or some other things. That’s why I always like to hang out with my friends, no matter who they are and what they wanna do. I like the feeling of being with friends.
Ok, “FREE HUG” is a fabulous campaign which you can experience a lot though. We don’t wanna live in the so-called ”concrete forest”,without any warmth. We need ot break that kind of thing. ” BETTER UNDERSTANDING,BETTER COMMUNICATION” .
That is my understanding of “FREE HUG”. I think different people, different feeling. Now I am gonna show you a video which is one of the “FREE HUG CAMPAIGN” shot in where I am living now, Macau. Enjoy!
